5th place) Amon tobin

As an artist, if theres inspiration in need of being hatched in my head- Amon tobin makes your thoughts flow like a waterfall in a rainy day.

Drum'n'bass deviant Amon Tobin fuses hip-hop and jazz compositional ideas with the bustling rhythms of hip-hop and jungle and the bent sonic mayhem of ambient and dub.

I found the choice of songs impossible to put in a row of how-good-they-are, and therefor just took three of the song i like from this artist. What i am meaning by this is that nearly every song he makes is refreshingly unique and have a strong alternative feeling.

And because this perticular artist is so alternative as he is, i chose a fith place. I litsen to his music almost every day, so he is very valued to me and in my opinion also a very talented muscician.

4th place) Kent

With indie pop growing all over Sweden in the mid-'90s, Kent became one of the biggest Swedish bands during that decade. And In both a great loss and advantage, the songs were mostly only written in swedish.

If this was a top list that was based upon lyrics, Kent would certainly be on top of the hill. But because the music itself is a little weak (in a less incredible quality, so to speak), i chosed to give it a fourth place.

3rd place) Radiohead

If you're feeling down on a rainy, pointless and lonely day. When none seems to understand you and life's just simply not being a sunshine- Radiohead is one of those bands who seems to reach out a hand, giving you a sence of understanding to your feelings.

Radiohead was one of the few alternative bands of the early '90s to draw heavily from the grandiose arena rock that characterized U2's early albums. But the band internalized that epic sweep, turning it inside out to tell tortured, twisted tales of angst and alienation.

I've cried a lot to their songs, what more is there to say?

2nd place) Silencer

"Silencer was a Swedish black metal band formed in 1995. They released one album "Death - Pierce Me" before splitting up. The album had a major impact on the swedish underground scene at the time, and arguably helped certain bands in the scene to form. The band has been the subject of much controversey, mainly because of several allegations made against their vocalist Nattramn, who was supposedly institutionalized shortly after the album was released, thus forcing the band to split up.

There have been many rumours about vocalist Nattramn, most notably that he had cut off his own hands during the recording of the album." -wikipedia

Silencer would in fact be my number one choice if there wasnt cause of one little detail; the music is just TOO emotional.

As for myself, i once was reaching a potential psychose by litsening to this music. I then stopped litsening to it and said i will never litsen to it again.
(NOTE; NEVER LITSEN WHILE DEPRESSED OR IN A STATE OF INTOXICATION- trust me on that.)

1st place) Ahab

You know the saying that music is allways best at high volume?
If you didn't or just believe that it is a hoax, then the German funeral doom trio called Ahab will certainly prove that to be the truth. As Ahab was mainly inspired by Herman Melville's classic tale of a great white whale and the infatuated ship's captain who pursued it- the story simply comes to life in their masterpieces of darkness.

I LOVE THIS BAND, they are simply amazing.
